Is it really happening? Can I be happy about it if it is real? :)

I’ve been growing a beard for half my life. Since the first hair started growing on my chin at the age of 15. Back then I wanted to grow a goatee. It took my a while, but I succeeded. At the age of 18 I had a goatee with a mustache (we call it “ringbaardje” in Dutch). I now have a full, groomed beard since a few years. My wife has actually never seen me without it. Besides maybe a few days when I shaved for Moustache Day at work.
I learned grooming on my own. But these techniques are still helpful. I use a beard trimmer, scissors and a comb (both wide- and fine-toothed). And I wash my beard with regular soap. After reading about it on beard.org, I’m thinking about trying to wash it with shampoo and conditioner. They say plucking hairs is not recommended, but for some reason it’s soooo tempting…
